Nope, all accurate.

GT base has actually gone down $435 invoice and $500 MSRP.

Now the only V8 412 HP car for under $30,000...

I believe it stands for fuel, delivery, advertising fee. Some trite little BS all the manufacturers are sticking on to make the sticker prices appear lower.

Ford Dealer Advertising Fund. Ford charges several hundred per vehicle to the dealers (and it is itemized on the invoice) to cover their share of advertising on a national basis. Dealers do not have a choice and have to pay it.

It's also included in the MSRP, along with a fuel charge.

Correct. However, it isn't itemized on the window sticker for the customers to see.

Do I have to pay the FDAF? I used to get a free tank of gas with all my other cars! and isn't delivery the same as the $850 destination. I'm disappointed I can't order a 2011 and I can't find a price list for 2012. I have my pricing spreadsheet all ready to give to the salesman.
I'm going to make the offer not him!
The 2012 seems to be about the same price except $200 more?? (v6 premium)
I am adding 5% profit to the dealer prices before holdback plus an extra $200 and no fees (except dmv).
With auto T and security pkg that is 26,311 before tax. If I don't get that I walk. Will I be a walkin' or a buyin'?

If your a good negoiator, you can probably get them to ax it, but will probably take some effort on your part.

expect 4-10 hours of haggling, regardless. Clear your schedule. I have yet to make my plan going into a purchase pan out. Good luck.

I never go in person first. It is just much easier to do the haggling with multiple dealers through email and phone.

The transmission charge is a flat out price increase. There are two safety packages, one includes the backup sensors and the other the HID headlights; you get a credit of you order them both. Last year they didn't offer backup sensors. And last year if you wanted HIDs you HAD TO buy the security package because it shares wiring and the price worked out the same.

What's with the supposed "invoice" price the dealer will begrudgingly, and eventually possibly show a buyer and the supposed "dealer price" that always remains unknown?

I'm real curious as to dealer price on a base V8 car.

Stickers for 29k. Invoice is 27. Dealer price is 26 or lower?
