2011 V6 No Start Clicks by Passenger Side Fuse Box

I have a 2011 V6 mustang that won't start. The lights come on and when you turn the key you hear a clicking sound by the passenger side fuse box inside the car. It's not a battery issue and won't jump start.

Any ideas?

Checked out all the fuses?
Sure it's not the battery?

Thinking the same Kyle. I've had battery's so dead they wouldn't even take a jump. OP, if the battery is good it could be the starter solenoid or the starter itself.

Same thing happened to my car. Clicking from passenger side fuse box. Took the battery to Autozone for a free check. Totally dead. Threw new battery in, baby fired right up.

Yep, that happens on the other forum I'm on. Aggravating.

So I'm going through this issue now with my mustang. 2011 V6. Won't start hear the clicking noise on the passenger side, all the lights and gauges still come on. Thought it was just a loose connection as it happened last week and got it to start and was good for a few days. But it happened again on Friday haven't been able to start it since. Starter doesn't make any noise when you try to start it. Thinking the starter might have went out. Anyone have any new info on this ?

I OP never came back to tell us what or how his problem was fixed . If you figure it out, come back and let us know .

Take a volt meter and measure how many volts your battery has. Our v6's need good volts from the battery.......

Yea I noticed lol. Don't get why someone would post and then not at least update what it ended up being. I'm sure it's not the battery, lights ands gauges come on no prob. No "twitching" that you usually get with a dead battery when you try to start. I'm going to pull the starter off today and check it out.

So it turns out after some more troubleshooting. It's my starter solenoid, but I'm debating whether or not to just put a whole new starter in since I'll be messing with it anyway. Got the car to start by push starting it lol. Drove it to my house, cut it off for a little bit and then went to start it up and she started up. So I think the solenoid just keeps getting stuck.

Just as I thought

It turned out to be the starter, the solenoid was bad. Ended up melting part of the connecting to the starter and was causing the solenoid to stick. There were also a few broken teeth on the starter, could hear the pieces bouncing around inside when I took it off and shook it. Replaced it with a full brand new starter, the issue completely resolved and sounds better starting now as well.

Thanks. Now we know what the fix was 'if' and 'when' the starter messes up with a 'click' sound but not cranking

My Mustang started to do the same, I removed my starter and took to the parts shop and tested out fine but I can still hear the clicking by the passenger fuse box. Any ideas??
