I remember when I wanted a 2004 Cobra terminator new It sticker for about 36k. That was only six years ago. Stangs have been getting expensive. They'll be well in the 40's in another couple years.........

Hey Mick, you can already get a Premium GT with all options (navigation, Glass roof) into the 40s for a coupe. Well into the 40s for a Vert.

Hey Jeff, are the lease rates available for it yet? Mine is up in 8 weeks and it's time to decide if i'm upgrading or buying what I have!

whysoserious 1/16/10 08:35 AM

Hey Jeff, thanks so much for all the info! Question: To get the Brembo brake package, do you have to get the GT premium like you did with the 2010 Track Pack, or can you get it with the base GT? Thanks!

David Young 1/16/10 08:37 AM

Thanks Jeff!!! I noticed the 3.31 axle ratio for the V-6 'might' be able to be ordered with the automatic transmission. I hope so because the 3.31 axle ratio is the one i would love to have.

whysoserious 1/16/10 08:38 AM

Never mind, just read the guide again and answered my own question!

Hey Joe, the lease rates won't be out yet, as the cars aren't out yet. Personally, Mustangs are never a "leaseable" car, and a GT never really is. Only did they offer a fluke super high residual a few years back, but nowadays, leasing isn't what it used to be. This is going to be a car that all programs and incentives are based on purchases. :nice:

:poke: You looked at Joe and typed his name instead!

I got that super high residual back then. It was 72% and the interest was 4.75%. It worked out nice for me. I remember you being surprised back then when you looked it up for me.

Still undercuts the 2010 camaro price by $1000+ across the board while offering more options and packages (so much for a huge increase). And this is comparing to 2010 prices which will increase for 2011, amazing for what is offered and the performance that this will have.
A GT Premium will actually be cheaper than my 06 GT Deluxe because I'll have x-plan this go around and no need for an auto transmission this time. For those complaining about the price being $40k+ for a well equipped model, what what is your definition of well equipped because a no option premium comes decently loaded (definitely enough for me). How many would include every option (glass roof included) as well equipped?
I only hope things work out this year so I can go ahead and get it.

MY duaghter's new GT has the NAV. Compared to the system on my Charger it is way more user freindly, easy to read and use. The screen is three times the size of most aftermarket units. She also has a glss roof and has no problem seeing the display in the sun. It comes with a 40 GB Hard drive and jukebox feature, MP3 capability and touch/voice activation. After seeing it in use, it would be a must have for me.

Hey guys, I just played around on CONCEPTS here at work and built a car that I would want to order (if I could). Its a 401A Package Grabber Blue GT with black/Grabber Blue stripe seats. The breakdown is below:

2011 GT Premium $32,845
401A Rapid Spec 395
Security Group 395
3.73 L/S Rear 395
HIDs 525
Brembo Brakes 1,695
Electronics Pkg 2,340
Destination 850

MSRP $39440
D-Plan $35,275.68

This is $10,440 more than my car was back in 2006. Back then, my car stickered for $29,000 even. and my D-Plan price was just under $26K

I was suprised and still am that they had a 70+ residual on a car!! You got a steal of a deal on a lease. One that I don't see them doing anytime again soon. :nice:

Oh, and sorry about that Dennis. I saw 2 questions and I tried to answer them both but got my wires crossed. Sorry bud. :(

laserred38 1/16/10 09:26 AM

Hey Jeff. We won't know if the Brembos will be available with Glass Roof yet right? Monday? Also, do you think they will release info on the rumored Recaro seat package Monday?

Hey dude, the Brembo Brakes ARE available with Glass Roof cars!! I just priced one out and it took it!!! :metal:

As for the Recaros, that sounds like a Job#2 build add in.

05fordgt 1/16/10 09:41 AM

Hey guys and gals, Yellow Blaze IS a Job#2 Paint. Its NOT available yet. :(

But you can order a Glass Roof car with Brembos!!!!

Jeff, you are my hero! We are really blessed to have you here on this fourm!!!

I called my local dealer and left a message. Waiting for them to get back to me to see if I can make a deal trading in my 2010 GT for the 2011 GT. I wish I lived near you!

jsaylor 1/16/10 10:03 AM

Hmmm, for a time I was under the impression that the Brembo brake package would also include the 3.73:1 gears. Looks like that may not be the case.

Yes, that would be your invoice price! Don't forget to add the Destination that is also listed below the GT Premium Convertible. Its $850. And I also believe the FDAF advertising is also factored into the price as well.

Actually, Jeff, FDAF & fuel are never included in the Invoice Total shown on the Price Lists from Ford. Last I checked on the 2010 Mustangs, FDAF was $600 and fuel charge was $42, so actual invoice total is that much higher (on a 2010, at least) than the price list shows. I'm assuming the 2011 will be similar, or maybe higher if Ford advertises the 2011 like crazy.

And, Jeff, thanks for posting the Price List. I'm always leary about posting stuff like that as I've been in trouble with Ford in the past for releasing sensitive info to the forums.
