That second one looks like it could be a Mustang based Lincoln.

I wouldn't because I used the ones i thought looked best. As for back up lights..they are there they are subtle..they are above the plate.

Believe me I didn't forget them

each to his own though.

please put a note on that image that it was modded by you. Just so there is no confusion if it gets linked anywhere.

Watchdevil..it's amazing you think they look like model car lamps cause I thought they looked familiar and toylike I just couldn't pin exactly what it was that bugged me but you hit it on the thead LOL

It's a good thing this rear was not used. First thing I thought of was 1977 Chevy Caprice/Impala taillamps...

Thing is I have seen model car taillamps that look better than the 2010 Mustang... LOL!

I have a 1/24 scale model of a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that I built long ago and in order to make the taillamps look realistic I had to paint the three circles on the back of the full width taillamp lens silver then paint the rest of the lens flat black. It replicated the real car's dark lenses with the triple circle lamp sections perfectly.

Lowered and separated they would have looked good (a bit Mustang IIish though).

Two different versions!

That rear diffuser looks incredible compared to the stock diaper. Hopefully the aftermarket will make that available ASAP!

Very interesting. You never know Ford just might revert back to an aerodynamic shovel nose. Back when the 2005 first came out someone did a chop of the 2005 Mustang with an Aussie Falcon nose and it actually worked well.
