2010 GT 18" wheels vs. 19"
I ordered my '10 GT in black with the standard wide-spoke 18" GT wheels. I think I still have time to change the order, if I decide to.
I like the fact that the 18s look like a Mustang wheel, an update on the argent-color Bullitts I have on my '06. But then I saw them on a black '10 and they look too "silvery" to me against the black. I like the nickel finish on the 5-spoke 19s, but not the style as much. I don't want to go aftermarket, both for warranty reasons plus I prefer a stock look.
I'd appreciate any input from you guys on one wheel vs. the other with regard to both looks and handling.

On a black car with saddle interior, I think the stock silver 18's will be a mismatch. The polished 18's would look better, IMO. Better still, the 19" machined wheels (wagon wheels with dark grey spokes) would look great on a black car.

Thanks for the input! I decided to go with the nickel-finish (5 spoke) 19s after all. I spoke with the "order guy" at my dealer and he will see if there is still time to make the change.

FYI, starting yesterday, 2010 Mustang orders going forward are done differently at the dealership level nationwide. Once an order is accepted by the factory, changes will no longer be possible. The plus to this is that Ford expects Mustangs to be shipped 2 weeks quicker than in the past.

You should likely be able to get your changes in, assuming your car has not already been scheduled and serialized.
