I'm not getting the whole driveway done...just the apron and two cement sidewalk pads. The plan originally called for just replacing the pads, tapering them from the untouched edges of the sidewalk downwards and up again, and then just patching the asphalt apron. But it looks like the apron will be concrete too and make a better transition to the driveway. The last pic is my splitter. Yesterday I took 100 grit and sanded down the eaten up area of the splitter. I'll take it off, do a better job of smoothing it, and spray bombing it until I get a new splitter. For now it looks a little bit better.

Here are a few apron photos. Also shown are before and after pics of my splitter. The repair is half-assed, and I had to scuff the entire part to maintain an even patina. It'll do for now.
Keeping my fingers crossed that he gave me enough grade to avoid problems. It's hard to tell in the sidewalk repair photos, but the sidewalk pads between the driveway and new concrete apron are actually on a 1.5" downward incline in the direction of the street, plus a longer, more gradual apron grading which hopefully will give me more comfortable egress. I won't know until I can drive over it on Sunday after it cures. The whole deal set me back $2700. That cut into some mod money for this year, but this was way more important.
Charity is not beneath me, so donations are gladly accepted. I'm not proud.

It does appear that way. But he graded the new pads slightly downwards towards the street, and extended the apron so I have a longer incline/decline. It should actually be a few inches lower overall......I hope!!!!!

Finally had my suspension installed. It looks much better, handles tighter, rides smoother and with a lot more control. This is how they should look and handle from the factory. The alignment specs are dead on for camber just by facing the arrows in on the Gt500 strut mounts. I was concerned with my steep driveway approach and curb because the stock suspension allowed the front air dam to drag. The front doesn't touch at all but the rear will if I'm not careful....I didn't see that one coming. I've really enjoyed looking at and drooling over all the photos in this thread and figured it was time for me to contribute!

Had a day off today, took the Stang around for some pics. Wish I could lower my car a little bit more. I'm planning on getting 20" wheels, hopefully that kills the gap a little.

Nice car, and welcome to TMS. Beautiful ride... love the theme, stance, etc. it's your car and your call in the end, but I would suggest removing that white Ford Racing decal beneath the 5.0 badge. It clutters up the area, and disrupts the overall cohesiveness of your car.[/QUOTE]
