Question New Wheel Thoughts

I want to get some new wheels for my 07 GT. I currently have Steeda Spyders staggered setup with NITTO INVO 275/35 in the front and 315/35 in the rear. Please help me decide which one looks better. I know the AMR wheels are a little cheaper in cost. There is only about a $60 difference between them.

My choices are:

1) American Muscle Charcoal AMR 20" staggered setup

2) Concave Downforce 20" Graphite staggered setup

Here is my current setup

Both wheel designs are very similar. I'd go with the American muscle ones.

AMR has that new color they just released. More glossy charcoal than matte and apparently they change colors depending on the light. I'd go with those. Same price as the other AMR wheels.

Hey Sean,

Great choices but I definitely have a winner in my mind... Have you seen the new AMR's? I love them!

Check out the New Dark Stainless AMR's:

This new color looks amazing and is the perfect happy medium between matte black/ charcoal and gloss black.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks Will. It is hard to tell what that new color really looks like in those stock photos. I need to see them in a video like you have for the other 3 colors, so that I can see a comparison.

Not an option. Rims are starting to have finish issues. Tires are getting low on tread. It is time for something new.

Understood man!

We should definitely have a video up soon but in the meantime, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the AMR's!

I've personally run them on a few of my Mustangs and absolutely loved them!

Let me know if you need anything!

Thanks. I just don't usually like being the first person to get something without seeing it on a car first.

Sean, have you seen Steeda's new wheels? They look a lot like the AMR wheels, but with a much better finish. I had the Spyders on for years and decided to go back to a 19" wheel and really liked the looks of the AMR charcoal ones. However the finish on them was painted without any clear coat and it didn't hold up well. Also behind the spokes wasn't painted at all, just bare metal, and would rust every time it rained or I washed them. I tried to upload a picture of Steeda wheel, but for some reason I couldn't, so here's a link to them. Also, the OEM Tri Bar pony center caps will fit them

For the price and design of those Steeda wheels I would prefer to go with the RTR wheels. I don't really care for how the hub bows out. I like a concave look to the wheel.

I have been battling the wheel demons now for a couple days tossing between designs. I like the looks of the Downforce Concave DC8, but just saw their DF5 5 spoke wheel and I like it also.
