New 2006 GT in Windveil Blue. My wife liked the color. I liked the 18" wheels. So we brought it home!

 

I love the chrome bullits on the W/B....really sets them off. They are definitely on my mod list. Congrats on a beautiful car and for having such a smart wife.

Nice looking car. That color continues to grow on me and look better everytime I see one. Technically, the factory bullitt's are polished and not chrome. I wish that they were chrome.

Looks really good. Where those side stripes on there, or did you have them done? Also, hard to tell in that picture, but what's that on the bottom left of the trunk lid? Dealer emblem?

Oh man, that is really alien!

 

The side stripes were something the sales manager at the dealership had put on. He said that they usually use white, but for some reason on this one he decided to go with the satin silver stripes. He asked the striper to cut the GT in to match the GT emblem on the fender.

Yeah, dealer emblem, needs to come off.

 

Here is a close shot of the stripe. The GT cut in the stripe doesn't look like the GT on the CS. It seems the striper did try to make it resemble the GT badge.
