Tailights

How much crack was Ford smoking when the designed the bulb replacement procedure? lol I have an 05 and I'm going to replace every bulb before I put that pita back together again.

That being said, The inboard light on both sides are out. The book in the store called called for 3057. The bulbs I pulled out are 4057s. The 30's either do not work. Or I have a problem. Thoughts?

A quick Google search told me that 30s and 40s are interchangeable. But....could there still be a wattage prob between the two causing my issue?
