mmmm, nice choice. I think I like these bullitts more than the bullitts on the 05/6. They seem a little bit more angular if that makes sense.

Are you waiting for rubber now?

TMSBrad Oct 6, 2005 08:28 PM

Yeah, I'm hoping for a pair of 255/45/18s and a pair of 285/40/18s.

Those are awesome! Can't wait to see what they will look like on your car!

TMSBrad Oct 7, 2005 01:26 PM

Well it's going to be a little while. Both 18x10s came with blemishes and have to be replaced.

jay_wx Oct 7, 2005 01:49 PM

That's gotta be dissapointing :( ... here's hoping the wheels can get swapped out quickly and that you won't have to wait long.

That sucks!!! And both of 'em too! Hope everything works out well in the end.
So are you puttin on the BFG KDW2's?

Fordracing200 Oct 8, 2005 10:09 PM

 cant wait to see em on their with the stock fanblade center caps.

TMSBrad Oct 9, 2005 06:36 AM

The fanblade caps won't fit, but the 2001-2004 Bullitts do.

It's a Bear to Ship Wheels and Recieve Them Undamaged. I Double Box mine and that USUALLY but not always works ,but When ford initially Ships Them I am on My own. I visually have to check every wheel before shipping them out. It is very very Time consuming. It would be nice if the Shipping companies did not play basketball with wheels! I had a Customer drive 5 Hours to pick up a set of blades and I went through 7 out of 16 Wheels from Ford to Get 4 Good Wheels for the Customer and this is with Fords Better Packaging with the Blades! Do yourself a Favor and Inspect your wheels while the Shipping company is dropping off your wheels.Less Hassle that way for Claims.

Brad... so what's your plan for the fanblades?

If your just gonna toss them, send them to me and i'll get rid of them for you ;)

2L8IWON Oct 9, 2005 05:47 PM

Well I understand having sponsors and what not but you couldn't put anything a little more original on that bad boy? C'mon, it's the center piece for your/ our website. Let's get some sweet 20's or 18's that aren't a body style old.

Good luck with the rest of the project.

20s? I don't think so. And I'm not bound to these wheels for life, but I couldn't find any others out there that I liked and good afford.

That's understood, about being bound for life. And as far as your issues with 20's what's wrong with them? Too big, the performance loss, the bling bling stigma?? What? All of the best looking cars at SEMA had 20's and I think that they looked really really good.

Once again I don't want you to take the critique as an insult, I would of just gone another way. But hey it's you car, good luck once again. Can't wait to see the progress on your car.
