Price and part number for 18R steering wheel

Hi KC,

Do you have information on the 18R (Driver Instrumentation Package) steering wheel? There may be an interest to upgrade 2010-2011 base GT's.

Other threads here , and here.
Thanks!

Will the steering wheel audio controls be active though? Anyone know if the plug is there in base cars or will the buttons just be dead?

The wheel is designed for the base cars. It has the radio controls, but no button for Sync.

I know it has the controls on the wheel, but is there a plug in the column to plug into the upgraded steering wheel, since the base steering wheel has no audio controls?

I would presume there is, otherwise why offer it as an option for fleet vehicles. This wheel is unique to this particular option.

Chris,

Thanks fo the Vin which helped to properly look this up. The Gt-500 Steering wheels come Complete with Wheel, Switches and Bezel.

All the rest of the LEATHER wheels are Piece by piece. The main Difference is the R/H Switches depending on radio configuration.

What you are asking about is the next step up from the Bare Bones Plastic wheel for example as used on fleet cars. Here is how it breaks down.

Prices as of 05/20/10
TMS PRICES
$172.10 Leather Wheel
$ 61.43 R/H Switch
$ 52.79 L/H Switch
$ 29.51 Lt Bezel
$ 29.51 Rt Bezel
$ 29.51 Center Bezel
Total TMS Price $374.85
MSRP $486.80

KC, you don't happen to have the pricing for the pre-2010+ GT500 steering wheel do you? I like that stitching but parts cheap has it for about $100 more than the Bullitt. If that's the case then I will probably just "bite the Bullitt" and go the less expensive route.
