Kevin help !!!! .... again

Kevin, I finally decided to install my rear swaybar on my V6, I had the take-off parts sitting in my garage for 3 months.

Here's my problem: I needed to buy the brackets and bolts to do the assembly, and this morning when I went to my local dealer they told me that one of the "Clip nut" is discontinued and that there is no Ford replacement !!!!

The item W711029-S900 the "clip nut" that holds the top of the link !

How can this be ? and why they don't have a substitute available ?

Any suggestion on what I should use instead ?

Looking at every web sites possible, it seems that this "Clip nut" is a standard self locking nut but with a clip to hold it in place, probably for production efficiency, to avoid the nut to turn while tightening does this make sense ?

Thanks,

Dean

Ford Superceeded the Part to another Part and Canceled it . It is a mistake. I will contact Ford and get it Corrected. In the mean time a Nylock Insert 12mm Nut Should do the trick.Or Check your Local Automotive Paint Store for a 12mm J-nut. I will update when I get my response from Ford. You have know Idea how many Mustang Parts Glitches I get involved with. I should get a Spiff from FORD!

Kevin

Is the side scoop on the Mustang CS and Shelby GT tha same base part? Is street scene the OEM?

Did you firm up your parts distribution contract with Whipple?

Can you get the Shelby GT500 wheels?

Thanks,

Paul
