Here are The Running Horse Emblems for the 2006 Pony Package. The locating pins are exactly the Same as The 05 GT Emblem! So an Easy Install. I think these New Ponies May end up on My GT! Great Grille Emblem! The Locating Pins can be Trimmed to be Used on the V6 Cars. FYI

Kevin: What do you mean about trimming the locating pins? I have a set, but no holes on the V-6. Are you talking about cutting off the tabs and just using the adhesive to hold the emblems on?

I didn't realize they had those tabs on them when I ordered them, but they do look cool!

Silly question, but what would be my advantages to order these and waiting, instead of ordering the original ones of a 65 mustang? Are the 06 pony package emblems larger than the old ones? I was hoping to order the tri-bar pony with the "mustang 2+2" symbol, but judging by your pics, it seems as though it will not fit. Any opinions would be appreciated.

the early ones are mounted with pins only, the later ones come with the high tech adhesive tape applied already....easier!

Thanks for the replies. So what would be my best option if I do not want to wait on a backorder? I already have some 3M tape that I could apply the old ones with, and I wanted the "mustang 2+2" feature..

The Problem with SOME of the old emblems are they are HOLLOW and its a Booger to get the Tape to look Right!.

I hope FORD Accessories Gets The 06 Wheels Because Ford has slapped a
$50.00 Core Charge on Replacement Wheels Starting in Late 05! They are trying to curtail The wheel REPAIR Market. As Usual You Heard it on TMS FIRST! FYI The Minute The 06 Wheel Catalog Comes Out I will Do a PAGE by Page Post! They will also be included in Every Parts order as Available. Along with The
06 Accessory Catalog as I did with the 05's
