The latest version of the Cougar wasn't too swift in my opinion and apparently the market said so too. The first Cougars were built on the same platform as the Mustang, can history repeat itself....again?

It would be awesome if they did it right, especially if there are luxo options like sunroof and seat heaters.

I dont think so.
One of Ford and GMs probalready is too many car lines. |
I doubt it, Ford has ALOT bigger fish to fry at the moment.
|
I wish they would, but doubt it. They can't even handle Mustang production and demand.
|
Supposedly they are studying using the Mustang chassis for a 2-door lincoln.
That being said, I doubt they would also build a Merc on top of it. |

I would love to see a new cougar... a creature comfort version of the Mustang
Toyota has itself, Scion (which only has three cars in its line-up so far), and Lexus (total of 3 lines). That's the most out of the big three asian co.'s. Honda and Nissan has 2 lines. GM has Chevy, GMC, Pontiac, cadillac, buick, saturn, hummer... (7+ lines!!!) |
If I remember correctly when Brad and Rob interviewed J. Mays in New York he said there would not be a Cougar
