when will Ford ditch the powerstroke?

Ever since the 7.3 was taken out of the line up, the Ford diesel hasn't been up to par with Cummins and Duramax. There were rumors of Cummins being put in Fords a few years ago. Anyone have any insight of future changes?

Current 6.7L PSD is more powerful than both Duramax and Cummins (400 hp, 800 lb ft torque).

6.7 tecnically isn't a powerstroke (even though it carries the name) as it was designed and built by ford whereas the 7.3, 6.0 and 6.4's were international motors.

I still have an old 7.3 and I'll never give that up, more reliable than any 6.0/6.4 could ever be.

I think retaining the PS name on Scorpion was a fairly poor decision on Ford's part. Navistar had really hurt the PS name and the 6.7 was a great opportunity to launch a new label. Ah well.
