Ford has more than 25 mobility experiments under way all across the globe, addressing mobility challenges such as congestion and endless traffic jams, pollution, air quality and more. The American company also opened first R&D facility in the heart of Silicon Valley to spearhead a lot of this new thinking. Ford also introduced Ford Smart Mobility to improve on connectivity, mobility, autonomous vehicles, the customer experience and data analytics. |

I think they should concentrate on build quality and making an infotainment system that isn't a hunk of microsoft designed garbage.

They need to integrate CarPlay and Android in the Car. Let the Pro's at UI do the UI. Unfortunately no help for us stuck in Microsoft Sync.
When I look at Carplay and Android's infotainment system. I think about how similar it is to operating a GPS unit or a Tablet device. both of which are banned from using it while operating a vehicle. This is going to cause huge headaches, you'll see. Once this platform takes off for the masses, its going to be treated the same as a GPS device or mobile device. It will be too distracting. |
