Transmission troubles....

I know this isn't a truck forum and all, but I really don't want to join one just to ask this question...and a transmission is a transmission right???

Well I have a2007 F-150 5.4L with 148,000 miles....at 70,000mi the it felt like the torque converter was going out and it wasn't shifting correctly and all that jazz...well the transmission made it to 140,000 and I went out. So I had it completely rebuilt. I picked the truck up on December 12th and about 2 weeks ago I drove up the mountain about 45 minutes. The truck's fan kicked on and the transmission started slipping. on a steady acceleration it would shift up then back down then up again. Finally it locked overdrive out and said "Transmission Malfunction". So the next day I drove it down the mountain and the guy said that the transmission was overheating but he doesn't know why it would do that since it didn't do it before. Also when going up a hill and trying to kick down the transmission will shift to neutral, rev-up, and then the lower gear will lock in and it will go.

There's a warranty on the transmission, but the guy has no idea what is causing this or how to fix it or what's even happening in the world....I was hoping y'all would have some ideas...?

Did an actual transmission shop do the work or was it general repair shop that did the work? Sounds like a pressure related thing to me.
