I think it would be a mistake for Ford to price this thing out of its current market. That's what makes them so appealing, IMO... it definitely isn't the styling!

People just use the idrive as an example of an input device cause everyone is fimilar with it, and its not the idea that is crap in the bmw its the interface and how the software works.

Highly unlikely that it's the next Focus.

On the other subject: the new iDrive (e.g. in the 2009 3 and 5-Series) is completely new and a huge improvement over the original one, about which the guys at Top Gear said it should be called "iDistract and then iCrash".

Everytime Auto Express shows a preview photo of a future model it's always a chopped speculation and never representitive of what will actually be produced.
