New baby Ford

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/au...baby_ford.html

Its styling will be based on that of the California-designed Start concept, which debuted earlier this year at the Beijing Motor Show. Under the bonnet, it will be powered by a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost engine with direct injection and stop-start technology. Developing between 80bhp and 125bhp, but returning around 60mpg and with sub-100g/km CO2 emissions, the unit will also be offered in the Fiesta, Focus and C-MAX ranges.

Ford should bring it to the USA as Toyota/Scion iQ and Smart fighter.

This could be an updated version of the Ford Ka. I could see it working here.

T-boned? That thing looks like it's not even as long as a fullsize truck is wide, the truck might think they hit a pole

I wish AE woulda just put up a picture of the concept, rather than doing their usual wacky photoshop job.

We may see this in NA, but I'm not holding my breadth. Maybe if they do an electric-only version....

^ That looks a lot cleaner. Certain lines remind me of the Interceptor concept, which I like.

Keep in mind guy, Ford has stated that they wont be doing concepts anymore. This may not go into production as a car called the Start, but by Ford's own (earlier) admission this is a representation of where some future Ford product sits in the developmental life cycle right now. In other words, this is probably a pretty good indication of where Ford is taking the Ka.
