My Focus is in!!
Well, I know I said a couple of months ago that I would be getting my car in a week or two, but unfortunately, I underestimated the level of disorganization here in Greece. Finally, however, I can proudly say that my new 1.6 Ti-VCT 3 door Ford Focus is in and I should be taking it home on Tuesday after it's had a nice bath as well as having an alarm system installed.
Unfortunately, I'm leaving Wednesday morning at 4:40 AM to come back to visit the US for a month. That means I'll get about five or six hours of driving time in before I have to put on a cover and put her to sleep for a month. I'm thinking about sleeping in late and just driving it all night.
She's beautiful in person even with the thick layer of dirt. Tell me what you think.
I should be posting better pics in this thread Tuesday after I receive her and use my real camera to photograph her.

I was delighted to see that you bought a REAL Focus and it looks great! That is what should be sold in the US... I caught a glimpse of the new Euro Focus ST this morning and it is a hot little hatch!
Ford of US would be nothing with the Mustang and the F-150. I would not have returned to Ford if it were not for the new Mustang.

Alright, sorry about the delay. Here's some more pics. It drives like a dream and I love the voice activation. Now when I get lonely while driving, I have a British woman speaking sexily to me asking what FM frequency I'd like to listen to. Handles like a champ and actually is more fun to drive than the RX-8 it replaced. I LOVE the metallic blue with the chrome accents.
Unfortunately, I am now back in the USA and can't drive her. Looking forward to May 22 when I'm back home and able to drive her again.

Because they were never marketed here... Well unless you count the 2000 Focus which looked the same but Ford of NA cheaped it out so bad it had recalls and left a sour taste in consumers minds. Then it was left for neglect as Ford of NA decided to pass on upgrading the Focus the same time as the Euro counterparts. So for now we are stuck with the NA Focus which was sent to Joan River's plastic surgeon.
