I really like it as well. Ground breaking? Some may say, NO. Given Lincoln's recent history, the Zephyr, MK X, and MK S lineup is beginning to look very attractive across the board.

I can't quite put my finger on it though. Judging by the pics in the post, I want to say Infiniti from the front, Acura from the rear.

wow... this thing looks totally production ready. The wildest thing about it is the headlights and that's not a super exotic feature. I could imagine this thing hitting dealer's lots as is. Like, it doesn't even get some crazy over powered engine. Its got the yamaha V8 from the XC90 and soon the S80, which we've heard is supposed to end up in the upcoming lincolns. The interior is pretty white!
The wheels, as we've discussed, are sweet, and i love the side vents.

From what I have heard, there will be 2 cars spawning from this concept, which are more or less replacements for the current LS and the already discontinued Continental. The MKS concept car portrays the smaller of the two cars, which will be the successor to the LS in the 2008 model year. I would bet the styling will change little between the concept and the production model.

I like it alot. Eurasian sedans are kicking Linc's butt and unless they want to go the design-by-crayon approach like Caddy this is the way they have to go. I hope this hits production soon and does the brand proud.

I wonder if the V8 here is an indicator that a V8 500 is getting closer to reality.

I like this car a lot. I have to give Lincoln designers a lot of credit for a great design. This car needs to hit the showrooms fast to rejuvinate Lincoln's lineup. I drove a Town Car for the last week and it needed a ton of work. I think the MKS with the proper driving dynamics will draw buyers back to Lincoln. Now they just need a Coupe and a Town Car replacement soon.

Kenny I read that the MKS will be Lincoln's Flagship, so I would think that it's a replacement for the TC. Lincoln touts it as a large sized luxury sedan. The LS was and should remain a mid sized luxury sedan.

It states the MKS as Lincoln's Flagship. The TC is currently Lincoln's flagship vehicle. The MKS is a big car judging by the pics.

Ford states it's a "full size" luxury sedan. The LS is a mid-sized luxury sedan. Sounds like a TC replacement to me.
