HELP!! Keyless entry answer needed ASAP

I know the keyless entry keypads on the drivers side doors that come from the factory can be re-programmed by the owner with a special sequence but can the keypads that are added at the dealership also be done by the same process.

If so, can anyone give me the sequence?

If not, how can the number be changed?

Any help as soon as possible will be greatly appreciated!

They used to put the number on the outside of computer module at the factory. They also had a little card with the numbers on it in the paperwork,if it was added at the dealership this may be your only hope. If you get it to work, the manual will tell you what to do to change it.

Andy, when you add the aftermarket keypad, to program it, you use the same sequence that you use to program extra remotes. On most Ford vehicles, you cycle the key from off, to on (do not start the car, just to to on). When the door lock and unlock, your in program mode. You press a button on the 1st remote, and 2nd remote (and any subsequence remote). Then while still in program mode, press the 5 digit code that came with the keypad. If the locks cycle (up and down) the keypad is programmed.

Before you apply the keypad to the door, try the code one more time, to make sure it works. Once its good, to enter another number, its the same as the factory system. 1st lock the door, using the last 2 buttons (7/8+9/10). Enter the code to unlock the door, then hit the 1/2 button, then enter any 5 digit code. Hope this isn't too late Andy.
