I bought more Ford cans this past week at a show in TN. the Rotunda is a bit rusty but for $11 what the heck, it will look good up on the cabinet. Time for some re-arranging again.
I Was Selling Those Over the Counter in My Early Days! With The Exception of The Upholstory Cleaner! Little Did We Know We Were Selling Art in a Can as Well!
I Have Had This Oil Change Sticker Roll Forever & Used To Give Out a Couple of Stickers With My Vintage Orders as a Bonus. The Stick Has Finally Dried Out But The Colors are Bright. I Did a Good Scan & Thought Maybe You Might Want to Print it Out And Use in Your Display.
My Friend While it is a Beautiful can I Think it's Late 70's to 80's The Ford GT Logo Copyright Was From 1966 So Be Advised! Notice the Circle C on the Lube Oil Sticker I Posted. It Was On Our Oem FORD Parts Boxes Forever! The Sticker is Actually Circa 1988!
Here we go again. I bought this unusual blue can dated from 1966. A little missing paint along the bottom lid but in good shape.
If it's from the era KC said, my family would have been using it and I can't recall a blue oil can. Could have forgotten though.
Awesome looking can, I like it.
Would Look Good in a Grabber Blue Displayed Boss 429 at a Car Show!
I Was Selling Ford Parts in the Early 80's and Honestly The Oil Cans Were Not Something I Put a Lot of Thought into at The Time. I Will Have To Check My Vintage Motorcraft Books For a Better Look At That Era! Personally I Was Always a Multi Viscosity Guy When it Came To Oil! Especially With Our Wild Temperature Swings in Central California!

Interesting. I just went by the this on the can. Also no UPC which came out in the 70's. I certainly wasn't driving back in the 60's so no way I can verify. Even the 70's or 80's is fine in my book as far as my collection.

I agree with you, I think it's probably a little older. Either way, it's a great looking can and I've never seen one I recall.
