I know this car has been brought up before on here, but I'm sure there are people on here who don't know about it. We're all big fans of the Australian Ford Falcon. Well this is another Ausie car that I think Ford should be either building or shipping over here. Maybe its easier for them to build off the Volvo platform... maybe they could've just styled the Freestyle more like this car. Cause this car looks great!

It can also tow 5000lbs. Oh ya... its got a 328hp turbo'd 4.0 I6, AWD, 6-speed auto

 

Why not just drop that drivetrain in either the Escape or Edge? or both.

 

Looks like an Escape (front) and Freeystyle (rear c-pillar) got together and had a baby . . .

I think that engine is to dirty for use in the USA. Another car that I would consider, though . . .

 

That's a really cool vehicle. I'd seriously consider that WITHOUT the 4.0. With it, I tell you now, that is an Audi killer. Ford should have this vehicle here instead of the Freestyle. Don't get me wrong, I think they did okay with the Freestyle, but this thing blows it away both proportionally and performance wise.

 

Its right between the Escape and Freestyle in size, looks like a baby freestyle with a subaru scoop [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img] They could always put the volvo 4.4 V8 in the Freestyle.
