Nice disguise. A friend of mine dropped a 5.0 in a Ranger years ago. He freaked out a lot of people. It was great to see their faces

Love the sleeper look! Not too much of a surprise since the Fox-bodied Mustang was based off of this car's chassis. Most of the go-fast goodies that work for the 5.0 will work for these cars too. Would like to see a 2-door Fairmont get this treatment as well. IMO, that would be pretty sweet.

Actually, while the 2-door Futura was far-and-away the coolest Fairmont ever you could get a 4-door Futura as well. In fact, the car pictured is a 4-door Futura. In fact, that would be a Futura badge just aft of the front wheel well. Additionally, there was a normal 2-door Fairmont as well with the standard sedan bodywork, only shorter.

The 4-door Fairmont Futura was basically just a top of the line Fairmont with the Futura coupes front clip slapped on it.
