Man, I wish they were still making the GT. I forget why they even stopped. Imagine how fast and impressive a production GT would be given a similar upgrade trajectory over the years as, say, the GT500.
I'd love to see Ford do some modern day Pantera'ish thing as a counter the the Vette and Viper -- a proper mid-engine, V8 sport/super car starting just north of the $50K mark. Sure, the GT500 is a very powerful, fast and impressive car, but even at whatever stratospheric power level its now at, it still doesn't have quite the cache, or halo, of a dedicated sports/super car crowning the lineup.

no, see, I want one with some mileage on it, so I wont feel bad driving the hell out of it, and we all know that cars in your possession dont get used.
