It seems to me there's a burgeoning market for a CF or glass stock hood, and the major hood manufacturers (TruFiber, Cervinis, etc) are missing out on a huge opportunity...

I think the 09-14 (maybe 04-14) had aluminum hoods. If not, they're probably fiberglass, though I thought Ford stopped using fiberglass for panels with the 2004 Mustang...

Nope, it's plastic or fiberglass. The rest of it is the metal

My wife's 1992 Pontiac Transport "Space Bus" was all plastic paneled.............it was literally GLUED together, all body panels were cemented to the vehicle frame. It was an extremely quiet vehicle. Too bad it had all the usual GM quality issues.
