Aston Martin Unveils New 600 HP V12 Vantage RS Concept
Almost put this in the "Other Fords" category, but no longer I guess. Once again, screaming proof of the timeless genius of stuffing a big motor in a small car. While all the recent Astons have been incredibly gorgous and very fast, they've all been a touch shy of top tier performance in their classes. This little beast should announce Aston Martin's seriousness to be an alpha wolf. With comparable horse pressure, better looks and presumably less weight than the fabulous Ferrari 599, their will be some serious comparison tests begging to be done in the near future. This thing looks great, avoiding some of the aftermarket tack-on look of 007's DBS. Well, maybe the wheels are a touch generic looking. And 600 horses in V12 guise, and with Aston's habit of actually letting you hear their glorious motors, well, nuff said there. When that Lotto ticket finally comes home to daddy, I'm going to have a real hard time between this and the oh-so-sexy Alfa Romeo 8C. |
heh, we posted just a few min apart so I just merged them together.
Thats a gorgeous machine!!! |
Baby blue? I'd like to think Viagra blue as the effect's about the same!
I like how Aston avoids the usual cheesy and oh-so predictable performance tack-ons that most other manufactures seem compelled to do to their special performance models. The tasteful and refined enhancements here befitting enough for 007 to drive in his best tux. |
NICE!!
And FMC still has a 15% stake in Aston Martin so technically we can still post topics in 'Other Fords'. Maybe I'll move this thread in a bit! :jester: |

Keeping the pornographic looks and adding more power, I think I like where the new Aston owners are going. |
This or the 8C? If you win the lottery, get both. I will. :D

That car is just GORGEOUS!! Color is perfect, especially if your a fan of North Carolina. Heck, even the Gallardo is available in light blue (though they strangely call it Celeste Phoebe. :dunno: ). I would take one of these in a second if I ever won the lottery. Though please make mine British Racing Green. :nice:
|
I dunno Jeff, the pics of a white vanquish last year got me hooked on White AM's.
|
White AMs look hot, i would really have trouble deciding between white and british racing green...or maybe they can custom paint it DHG for me. :)
|
Oh sweet lord that is hawt :metal:

They did not retain a stake . . :bad: http://www.fin24.co.za/articles/defa...8-1783_2160816 It will feel weird to put AM threads in the General Car Discussion Forum, but looks like from now on we will do just that. (I'm keeping this thread here!! :jester: ) |
