Hmm. Seven speed dual clutch transaxle. Please oh please let this transaxle go into a Mustang. All I can say is that it's about damm time we see a DCT in America. Even though it's in a sixer supercar. Again Ford is determined to kill displacement.

Agreed about the dct... I think it's wonderful they went with a six. The GTR has proven it's perfectly competent having a twin turbo 6 over a v8. They kept a v8 in the car that people want a v8 in and kept it naturally aspirated like it should be! Wonderful line up they have! I mean, as much as I love v8s, something about a high whining turbo 6 in a supercar sounds more exciting to me.. The gt350/R will keep the v8 alive... Interesting there no real grand tourer like the gt500 available but I'll trade that for a ford gt anyday

Gotta be honest, I absolutely love the car, but that interior is bad and cheap looking. Reminds me of the late 80's European cars where they tried to put 27 buttons on the steering wheels. This needs to stop. When you're turning the wheels, it's pretty impossible to find the right buttons to do whatever you're trying to do.

Have to disagree. If it's a sixer because it has to stay in a certain class to race, I understand. But if it's a supercar or at least in direct competition with the Vette, Viper, Ferrari etc. it shouldn't be a 600hp sixer. The GTR only proved that Nissan can make a bad *** car. Just like Toyota did with the Supra. Ford is not Japanese or European and doesn't need to prove anything.

Nah. Ford has gone all in with the ecoboost. To be honest, they are doing a great job with it. I'm just not a fan of the direction they are going. Hopefully this car and the Raptor prove everything they want to prove with the ecoboost. I will not buy either of them anyways, even if I hit the powerball. Lol
