2004 F150 5.4 Help!

OK guys, I have been searching all over for the best "New Style Spark Plugs" for our 2004 F150. Its getting close to the 100K mark and time to change them. One piece plugs i was hoping for! Any Help would be appreciated.

Do the 5.4s break off like the Mustang plugs did? I thought they just blew out of the head.

I don't think Ford sells the old style plugs anymore ... the dealership will only have the redesigned plugs in stock by now.
That's all we had in stock at the dealership I worked at, and I quit there almost a year ago ... by now you're definitely not gonna find the old style plugs.

But yeah, if it's a 3V, they're all gonna break if they're original and THIS old ...

Check with the dealership for latest model number, then check www.rockauto.com for best pricing on them

I'd like to know who in the hell thought those plugs were a good idea in the first place.

Check the front springs too ... I've seen a few 04-06 F150's with broken front coils and the owner never knew ... they sit a little lower in the front once a spring breaks, but like I said, it must not change the way it drives much, cuz the owners I dealt with had no clue ...
