,, I am trying to put together a cheap way / a Oil Separator / catch can to stop the oil that comes off the PVC valve line ( ( blow by ) ) on the valve cover at the top of the engine ,that go's to the side of the throttle body ,, this is what I will be putting on my Escort GT ,,just trying to keep oil out of the intake now ,,here are a few pictures of what I have plan for the car next . thanks for looking in ,, ,,,

I got the car back off the car ramps today ,,after I installed the ( Oil Separator ) ,,and I have heat again ,,heater works now ,,with the new heater core ,no leaks ,, I will post more pictures next week ,, thanks for looking in ,, ,,the car seems to run alot better now . road test in a few days .

I love it! My first car was a 1986 Escort GT in red...it was my dad's mid-life crisis car. I winded up selling it in 1993 when I went into the army and it was still on the road in 1998, when I was working at an Auto parts store after I got out! It had over 200k miles on it at the time (it had 130K when I sold it) and was in pretty rough shape though, since I had a pretty decent accident with it and we did the el-cheapo way of just getting it fixed so I'd have something tool around in till I went into the Army.

Here is a photo of it getting built (my dad worked at the plant it was built at)

 

I had an 85 1/2 until it consumed itself in a ball of fire.

 

,,WOW ,,thats nice ,,very cool car you had ,,I was thinking ,I been having a little shake in the front when I put on the brakes ,,so I changed out both trans mounts on my 1989 Escort GT ,this last week,, had to do some cleaning / sanding and repaint some parts ,,just doing a renew up a little ,, I was already there ,so why not ,,24 year old cars ( a work car at that ) sometimes need a little " TLC " too,,,,,,here are a few pictures of my redo work on the trans mounts ,,
