A neighbor of mine promised his kid that when he turned 14, they would go looking for a vintage Ranchero project to work on together and have finished by the time he turns 16. Well, they found a very afforable, rust free canidate within a few weeks of their search. It has a dependable 302 V* with an automatic. All they did was get the paint touched up (I guess it was two-toned with lavender  ) so it was one solid color, added the front boss styled spoiler and slapped on the 17" aluminum slots on BFG tires.
He stopped by the other night and I snapped a few pics of her: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...n/cbbc061d.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...n/963af958.jpg |

That is just beautiful, and a whole lot nicer than any full size truck. I'd love to have something like that. Do you know what they paid for it?

Absolutely stunning! I hope he takes good care of it! :nice:

OMG i want it and i want it now

The car isn't perfect, but my friend calls it a "10 footer" :-D
He didn't spit out an exact number, but I believe he has around $5000-$6000 into to it tops. Not bad for such a unique cruiser (especially with todays crazy prices on vintage musclecars). :nice: |
That sounds like a great price. If I could find one for that I'd be really tempted to buy it.

How much was the boss front lip? The Ranchero looks very nice & it has a clean design. I really like that paint job. :nice:
