I am looking for the 0 - 60 mph time listed for a stock Ford GT auto. I have seen it somewhere before but can't remember just where. Can someone help me on this one? Thanks.

On Motortrend's website, the 05 GT Manual is listed at 5.1. I've seen it at 4.8 somewhere else (I think Car and Driver?). I'd say the Auto is only maybe .2 behind the manual. The gap between the Manual and Auto are not nearly as wide as some might think. A couple people on this very forum have turned over some excellent 1/4 times in their autos.

BIG difference!

Fastest I've seen for Mustang GT is 4.9 from R & T. Most I've seen are between 5.1 - 5.3

Oh darn, lol, thanks for calling that out, selective reading pointed my mind to the GT.

In any event, the GT was listed at 3.7 0-60 from MT, and 3.5 from Car and Driver. I know on Speed network, I saw a special and they mentioned 3.something as well.

 

Except that the Ford GT isnt available with an auto...
