What is the difference between the gear ratios? These are both the same price and I don't know which one to buy, is one for racing and one for regular driving? Help is much approciated!

 

The lower ratio 5th gear in the first transmison is more like the stock transmission in that the 5th gearacts almost like an overdrive. The other transmission has a higher 5th gear so it the shift puts you back into the bottom end of your power ban.

I believe this is what it means. I could be completely wrong though.
