Sway bar help

So I was looking up under my car (2001 GT) on saturday and noticed that my driver side sway bar link was broken (fairly common). Since my car has been lowered 2" could this be a factor in buying a new one OR do I just buy a oem length Link and it will work just the same?

Any help would be great! and thank you in advance,

-Ben

You need an adjustable set (assume you are talking about the front) when lowered...with stock length your sway is being pre-loaded incorrectly possibly affecting handling..UPR makes a nice adjustable billet set for a reasonable price.............
