Steeda Tri-ax shifter problems

Just installed a Steeda t5/t45 Tri-ax shifter for my 99 Cobra and it's having issues getting into 3rd and fifth gear as well as reverse. We followed the instructions and watched some installation videos to make sure we did everything as we were supposed to. This shifter is supposed to work with 99 cobras and the car has a t45 transmission so that isn't the issue. The car gets into 1st, 2nd and 4th just fine but for some reason won't go into 3rd, 5th, and reverse. I'm going to move the shift stops to make sure they're not too tight and preventing the car from fully engaging the gears, but I'm not sure if there could be another reason why this is happening.

Sent this through to our install dept. for their feedback.

I will let you know as soon as I hear back, in the interim, please send me your email address to tim@steeda.com - with your order number, contact info, etc.

Best Regards,

TJ

*Fixed*

I adjusted the shift stops so that there was a lot more clearance and now the car is shifting properly and all gears are engaging as they should

That's good to know. I just put a Steeda Triax in my ecoboost yesterday. I drove it about 6 hours, and so far, so good.
