seats?
 

the driver seat in my recently purchased 94 mustang gt is supported by a small piece of cinder block... not good.

I've been looking for a replacement and am wondering what other year mustang seats will bolt in?

I put seats from 05-09 in my 03 GT. Best mod I've done so far. They were out of a V6, but had power and power lumbar. Hope this helps!

Did Ford make non powered seats for the 05-09 Mustang? if so what type of mustang should I look for, I too am thinking a seat swap on my 04 mustang....

Powering the seats is easy. Just need to run a wire that's keyed on with a relay and a fuse (I'd say a nice 16 gauge should do, but maybe 14 if you're worried) and then find a screw to ground the seat, and wire that sucker up and have a power seat in your '94.

Easy.

I know because I put power lumbar '88 GT seats in my '66 Mustang, so if I can do that, you can do power seats.

What you might need to do is go to a junkyard and find a wrecked Mustang what has the power seat in it and liberate the connector you need to power it all up. But it's just 12V switching in the seat, so all it really needs is power.

...unless Ford mucked it up with that whole 'Smart Junction Box' thing and so the switches don't actually work the seat... man, that'd suck... :p

mine I believe are the non power lumbar (i honestly think there is no lumber adjustment in them) so I would want seats just like what I got, but perhaps a newer styling?

Dunno. I want to say those seats havent really changed since the Fox bodies. They should all bolt up from each other, either everything (seat tracks and all) or the seats can be put on the tracks of the car's old seats.

But why would you not want power seats? I mean... POWAH. SEATS.

So I figured out that my 94 seat bracket/mount was broken. I welded it back together, but it did not go together right... so, I grabbed one from pull a part. Still need to replace the actual seats though...

Any seat from 79 to 04 should bolt in directly. The problem is power. If you don't have a powered driver's seat it will be a bit tricky for you to actually find a non power seat to replace it with. Good luck.
