I really think its an underrated wheel color. I might start prepping the Rs for paint later today

I saw your car a few weeks ago somewhere. Maybe at that Mustang show at Myrtle Beach. I distinctly remember the wheels.

hi guys...new to this forum...found this thread in a Google search... the original poster claimed that in his opinion doing this conversion was only worth it if you got a good deal on some wheels... Well, how is a set of 6 flat black powder coated FR500s, x4 18x10s and x2 18x9s.... FOR $100!! ... I have a '95 GT with Cobra Rs (set of 18s and 17s/16s) and wanted to try something new....seller says +30 offset on the 9s and +40 on the 10s..what would I need front and rear for spacers?

I would say that is a good deal, but tires are very expensive on 18's. Good luck!

Heck, I did '10 Mustang wheels on a '98, with spacers, and '10 18 x 8 Mustang wheels on a '68 Cougar, with 1" spacers. The Coug looked great!

I think those are def fugly!! Not my style and especially to buy adapters, the wheels, etc.. Might as well by aftermarket nice looking wheels that fits like a glove for your specific application and come out with a better looking product and save the headache of adapters and whatever else maybe needed.. juss sayn...
