Radio wiring problem.

Hi, i bought my 2000 mustang convertible, 5 speed, v6, a few months ago in april, i absolutely love this car. every time i work on it i love it even more. very simple and straightforward for the most part. had to replace conv. top, and replaced the hydraulic cylinders also, along with a few little things.

but the one thing that i can't get is the radio wiring. i put my radio from my last car a panasonic am/fm cd/mp3 player from 2004, still sounds great but i can't figure out the speaker wiring. there are more wires than i need. it is only a 4 speaker radio with 2 leads for each speaker there are like 12 wires from 2 original looking ford radio harnesses. even the wiring going to the speakers are all untouched from the factory. i got all four speakers working but the right is way louder than the 2 left side ones. i have hooked up radios since i was 15 and never had a weird problem like this.
i checked the radio outputs it's working fine. i know this ounds weird, i will try and take a picture of the connectors and post it soon.

This is a Basic Ford Wiring Radio Diagram from my Manual..
I used it on my SN95, since the previous owner didnt use a Wiring Harness Kit & hacked the connectors, this was my guide and ALL Speakers work as they should (Bal/Fade)..

Firstly in my 1996, Fuse #8 (10A) is the key fuse, it controls a lot more than the radio.. So if you're having problems with the speedometer working (at all) this is probably your culprit. It also controls interior lighting (dome, visor, map).. I'm only saying this because if the wires were cut that fuse is more than likely blown.. It was also the cause of a lot of my problems with inoperable items..

Now on to the two audio connectors (factory), if I'm not mistaken one is power related and the other is speaker feeds.. Here are your color connections..

POWER WIRES
Lt Grn/Yel +12VDC Constant (10A-Fuse Location #8)
Yel/BLK. +12VDC Switched (5A-Fuse Location #11)
BLK Ground (use on your Radio Harness)
BLK/Lt Grn Ground (use on your Radio Chasis Ground)

*Lt Blu/Red Lighting Circuit (used to dim the lights on your new radio, when you turn. on your headlights)

SPEAKER CONNECTIONS
LF
(+) Orng/Lt Grn
(-) Lt Blu/Wht

LR
(+) Gry/Lt Blu
(-) Tan/Yel

RF
(+) Wht/Lt Grn
(-) Drk Grn/Orng

RR
(+) Orng/Red
(-) Brn/Pnk

Those are the wire connection locations.. Hope that helps you out and saves you some time.. Also remember that some of the wire coating may have faded over the years and maybe slightly off color.. So use your best judgement, process of elimination or simply just check continuity.. If I'm not mistaken the wires may be the same color at their termination (Speaker Clip) location..
