PI SWAP.

Is $550 a good price for some 04GT Pi heads and intake? What else will I need and for those who have done it how much was the labor on the install? Want to do this but do not know if this is a good price.

From: Bay Area, California
After what I'm going through right now, I'd have the valve seals checked before dropping the heads on. Much easier to do it now than to have the heads pulled again later.

You can find heads as cheap as 90.00 and the most I've spent is 50.00 for the pi intake most I've spent for the pi heads is 200.00 good luck I have mine for sale right now for 250.00.

I just did my own full pi swap. Bought the heads and intake for 250. You might want to consider also buying the temp sensor adapter off ebay ($10). It only took me 2 days with basic tools and a torque wrench. While I had the heads off I also took the time to install some new headers. It is well worth the swap but not for 400. Keep looking, there are some good deals out there. Its a fairly simple job to do yourself, just dont forget to replace your head gaskets too.
