Paint spot repair.. Possible?

Gents (and maybe ladies),

I'm looking at a car that has clear coat coming off in certain areas.

Is it better to paint the entire car, or can spot repair be done?

Cheers all,
-Matt

Im not a body guy, but I'm pretty sure you can just sand it down and re-clear it. Unless the paint has damage to it.

Yes as long as the paint itself has no damage you could sand with a fine sand paper and then re clear it. It is obviously cheaper then spraying paint to. It all depends on the condition of the paint underneath. Good luck!
