Need a New Cooling Fan

Just took my 2003 Cobra to the dealer after hearing something pop and then getting a bunch of noise near the front of the car. They told me that my cooling fan is busted and that I need a new one. They quoted over $600 for the unit and over $900 installed. I'm in Canada, so I expect the prices to be higher, but that seems pretty high. I've seen some online for about $250. Am I looking at the wrong thing, or does this seem high to everyone else.

Seems pretty high man. Is it the fan blade or motor? It's not a very difficult replacement either. Sounds like a DIY project man.

CJ Ponyparts has them. $285
There's another one that says it a reproduction for under $100. Just not sure what reproduction means. Maybe the $285 one is genuine Ford part. Dunno.

Ya, thought so. Ended up having someone find one for $250. Even with the tow its still ends up being half the price.
