My car is jealous

Well, about a week ago my aunt took delivery of her new 2007 Mustang GT. Tonight I went over her house to see and hear her new exhaust(Borla Stingers). So when I get ready to leave my car starts beeping at me. It beeped at least once a minute the whole way home. Has anyone had this happen to them, or is my car just jealous that it has some competition in the family?

My radio beeps everytime I turn my car off. Not that that's really related though. Still funny if it was jealous!

Well... after a day of driving, I came to the conclusion that it was jealous. It didn't beep at me one time today. I guess if i were the car, I would be too. lol

Could be a door striker pin going bad? Maybe a seatbelt sensor?

If the striker pin went bad how would you fix it. I have had problems out of it before.

The funny part here is I'm not kidding. Fiona (the Cobra II, for those who don't know) tends to be VERY emotional. When shes mad at me, she breaks part of herself. Shes a little emo

She was a little bit jealous when Kaylee (the Bullitt if you couldnt figure it out lol) entered the family but I think they're good friends now

You should paint her all black and have the windows tinted really dark. Then she would be emo.

Do the Mad Max theme. Then you can learn to talk in an Australian accent!

When I test drove a Mustang (back about 20 years ago) my Capri wouldn't run right for a week She was jealous, finally traded her in on an 85 GT (that spent a lot of time in the shop ).

The Saturday before I took delivery of my 'Stang on the following Wednesday, my 83 Capri RS must of found out that there was going to be a new toy in the shop. Now mind you that the Capri has not moved under it's own power since 1997 (spun a main bearing or two and she's still waiting for a crate engine to replace it) and on this day the Capri decided to let me know how it felt.

That morning when I went out in the shop, there was a large puddle beneath the Capri. The power steering had decided to dump it's fluid contents all over the new shop floor. I called it the last great act of defiance.

And now the 96 Mark VIII has eaten the battery. I've been trying to be good and drive the Mark since getting the Mustang, but I must have waited to long to start her up and take her out for a drive.

Maybe these cars can sense can tell when they have been replaced with a younger, sportier model. Not unlike a few of my relationships, but's that another story for another time...

Well geez dude of course your car was jealous. Taking it with you to see that new suave GT with the fancy exhaust was the equivalent of taking your wife or girlfriend with you to the strip club. Of course you're going to hear about it all the way home! What were you thinking?!

I dunno... My girlfriend always tells me that window shopping is ok, just don't buy anything. I figured as long as I didn't drive the car then my car would be ok.

I think my car is ok with other cars now though. I test drove a 2005 Corvette six speed today, and my car ran just fine the whole way home.
