I guarantee you he was looking in his mirror or over his shoulder to merge into traffic and was not paying any attention to you at all. He wasn't looking and was probably as surprised as you that he hit you. You had your blinker on, he was parked when you passed him, completely not your fault IMHO. Plus there's these little things called brake lights he should have seen too!

What the cop have to say, about him not having a license?

 

If he wasn't legal I hope they took him in. My mom got hit by a car of illegals. They all took off except for the driver. No license, no insurance, no speaka the english. COP JUST LET HIM GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the least it is driving without a license, and the inability to prove you are who you say you are right?

You have to call the police. If not its your word against his. Your insurance will probably end up paying his claim and yours now.

Sad to hear this. No Police report=your insurance pays for your car and his insurance pays for his car. Most of the time...

call the cops and screw this guy for everything he's worth. if hes driving without a license hes already breaking the law, and it sounds like this was his fault anyway

 

That sucks, but it could be a whole lot worse.

 

Whenever I got that "OH MY GOSH" call from one the kids, no matter how small the damage I made sure the cops came.
One time the offending driver (the kids knew him) they found out was well known by the cops and was hauled away after a small dent (he had a warrant out).
Sometime a guy with no license but insurance info has had his license revoked, but still has the insurance paperwork that looks valid (even though the company has since canceled him).
The accident aside...
I guess from now on you are going to have to step up to the plate and take care of yourself instead of relying on Daddy.

its the law in most states that you have to report damage of any kind over 500 bucks. just call the cops and cover your *** or you could be the one in trouble.

 

you can go to the local station and file a report within 24 hours usally. Its totaly his fault he practally rear ended you. Get the report call his ins.
