Icreasing an 03 V6's HP

So I am sticking to my guns and I am not getting a car that isn't exactly what I want (a Cobra). So when my lease is up I wont be getting a new GT or a Roush Stage 3 or a Saleen S281 SC. I will pay off my car and wait it out until I get exactly what I want, at the price I am willing to pay. I would like some extra horses in the meantime so what would be the easiest and cheapest way to squeeze out more ponies out of my car?

CAI and a tune.

I had a K&N intake, Predator, Flowmaster cat-back dual exhaust kit (connects to factory y-pipe), and ASP underdrive pulleys, and the car was NICE. I had it dynoed, and it put down 177 hp, and 205 tq to the wheels. Something to note was that the torque line was very flat, indicating that there is power throughout the entire rev-range

Obviously, this isn't much compared to 99-up V8's, but it was enough to get it to move and have fun with. And, the gas mileage and insurance was GREAT. It honestly performed like a small V8, and sounded like a stock GT.

Keep in mind that the old 5.0 engines only had about 200-something HP, and the 96-98 4.6L only had about 225 hp [both at the crank; although, they did have more torque]

I'm sure a mild shot of nitrous couldn't hurt either

I had the "Aircharger Intake", which is the identical thing to the 57 series FIPK, but isn't CARB exempt. So, the answer to your question would be that I had the full intake in the second link.

Yes, that one.

Let me know if you want to see pics of them on the car.

CAI, Tune, Shot of nitrous and gears. Will make it into a mild monster!

Anyone know if I can go true dual exhaust on a 03 V6 and still pass inspection in Texas?
