Also, in our culdesac, 2 cars have been stolen in 6ish months, theres always broken beer bottles around the cars in the morning, and alot of unsavory types hanging around ive noticed later at night.
And if you got home 12:30 am ish maybe there was someone following or with the stolen cars there could be new houligans that moved in the area have a gander aroud look for wierd ****, btw was there any temptation that they wanna risc the noise breaking a window ? like whats gone ?

I'm not sure how much noise it would have made. The officer who came by said it probably wouldnt have even been that loud, especially considering most of the glass hit my seat and very little by comparison fell on the ground.

Thankfully I didn't have alot of valuable stuff in there, just the GPS

They busted a ring of minors doing it here. They probably did 50 cars over 2 months before they were caught. They were lucky they weren't shot.

I'm trying to focus on the good bits. At least my GPS is being replaced for free. The one I had is no longer for sale, so I'm actually ending up with a better system than I had before

They're going to ship me one of these http://www.digitalfotoclub.com/sc/fr...08#Description

This one has text to speech and has a traffic display thingie, to tell me what areas are crowded. Its supposed to be a bit slower than the one I had for initial calculations, but im not to worried about that

GPS, to heck with the GPS, they damaged your Bullit!!!!
To me that sucks much worse than losing stuff from inside.
Sorry that it happened.

Years ago, a friend of mine had an excellent theft deterrent...

Alarm and theft protection in one...

His Rottweiler slept in the car.
Had a small sticker on the back window that said "Guard Dog on Duty".
He parked at the end of the driveway in a bad neighborhood and never had a problem.

The window did bug me more. it still does. I looks like my car is crying.

i'd rather not have a dog in my car, since i dont have a dog, but thats pretty cool.

i'm heading up to the range this weekend. Maybe I'll make a sign out of used paper targets

Come to think of it his car did smell a little funky.
If you use the targets for a sign, make sure they're all holed at vital points.

That so s*cks!!!!! In Hawaii, we got the ice-head (crystal meth) chronics pulling this kind of crap. I don't care what kind of car it is, I'm all for lethal force in that kind of case... that happening to a Mustang would only make the pain much worse - should the offender be caught. Heck, they'll even steal the loose change in your ashtray. It's time to get a surveillance system with motion sensors and IR/night vision cameras for your property w/a mobile pager hooked up to a car alarm in addition to your household "crime deterrents". Or just leave a snake loose in there overnight! Hope you get it fixed soon.

I 100% agree that we should always be allowed to use lethal force on tresspassers. stupid california laws...

some kids were hangin out in the culdesac smokin. By the time i noticed dad had already called the cops and he told me to wait inside, so i sat at the front of the house with a window open and listened. turned out the kid used to live around here, dad recognized him, but he shouldn't be loitering around in our culdesac. I'm still going to walk around every night though, just in case.

If i play my cards right, people might be afraid of our house and stay the frick away

Just got a rental car today, and the car is at a shop

You guys are gonna laugh. Hell, I laughed the whole drive home. I cannot and could not believe I was driving what I drove

A white, 2008 Chevy HHR

This car is hilarious. I'll get pics later
