It will be noticable. The thing that will probably cause even worse mileage though is that you will want to be tromping on it more (ahh, the rush of being pushed back into your seats)

Itll definitely drop a few points on the highway. Id guess about 4mpg, should be less of a difference in the city.

if you are going to get a SC then a 4.10 might not be nessesary and you might want to go 3.73 instead. not that you can't do both but depends on what you ned thec ar to do i guess

a vortech and 4.10s will make your monthly tire bill equal to or greater than your monthly gas bill lol

you could do just the vortech and not really even need gears at all

2001 Bullitt came with 3.27.

If you go S/C I'd stay with 3.27 or up to 3.55 for overall driveability. If staying N/A I'd go with 4.10's. I have a brand new 4.10 gear set in my basement . . . . not sure if I am going to stay N/A or go S/C. Better to be safe than sorry!

Thanks for that Jason, because I honestly did not know :P

That being said, I think the 3.27s are just barely adequate. They are plenty good enough for daily driver, but I would like 3.73s in the future. But also keep in mind that I want to keep my car N/A

If you supercharge the car, you will be just fine with the the 3.27. I know I would :P

I didn't think that anyone goes that high(low, depending on how you look at it) for the gears as 4.10's. I've read that those are more plentiful in automatics, I don't know why there would be a difference though...

4.10's will be a hit. The gas mileage was very noticeable for me. I felt it hardcore in my wallet, but then I also switched to 93 at the pump

Theres loads of cars running 4.10s, though generally theyre more city cruisers/weekend racers, as opposed to anything that ever has to put on any serious miles on the highway.

I've got the Cobra 3.55 in mine with the Vortech and it's a good combo. I'm with Arin, you go with 4.10 and you might need tires quicker than gas. I plus sized my tires to give me a little more rubber on the ground and it seems like a good combination with the SC and 3.55.
