You won't be disappointed with the black out, I get thumbs ups and peace signs left and right now. I was just one of the many curvy SN's before, but this really makes you stick out without something unsightly.

Well should i do my blackout hood in flat black or gloss? If I do flat, should I use a clear coat? I actually already did the stripe but then i messed up on the second coat. It was gloss and it looked good but it was really difficult

Flat makes the tiger stripes less visible. Also I think that a good coat of clear flat would do good for the paint in the long run.

welll.....
tomorrow i should be getting a 96 cobra hood. I painted my rims black with a red autozone pinstripe. lets take bets on how long the stripe is gonna stay on the wheel lol. pics to come soon
If you cleaned & sanded well the area, it should last long. That Plasticote pait is pretty durable, if you used that brand. But if you actually used stick on stripe, that's another story!
