Did the black Mach 1 cars come with matte black stripes on the lower body side to match the hood black out?

Yes, all the 03-04 Mach1s came with the same black decals/stripes, both on the hood and the lower sides. They just aren't very noticable on the black ones. I had a Dark Shadow Grey (DSG) 03 Mach1. If they're not there now, then they must have been removed. However, I know a handful of black Mach1s supposedly came delivered from the factory with no decals/stripes, which was just some kind of mistake. Kinda like the 01 Bullitt that I bought (True Blue #2371). It came from the factory with the GT sidescoops, instead of the Bullitt scooplets, at least that was what the Bullitt owners called them.

I've seen a few Mach 1s that had gold and silver stripes.They look awesome. :yes:

All black Mach 1's are the best. IMO, they are the perfect sleepers. I hope to buy one someday or maybe a black 03-04 Cobra.

I thought in 2004 the black mach 1 had white stripes

it was possible to get the 2004 mach-1 with white stripes but all the black mach-1s i have seen are all black w/ the matte black side and hood stripes which i personally think is the best look.

Just before the 2004 model year, Ford's web site showed the Black Mach 1 to have white stripes (see here), but the picture was incorrect. It's intention was just to show that the car had stripes, but it confused a lot of people. The 2003-2004 Mach 1s only came with black stripes--any other color is an aftermarket modification.
