Air Intake Recommendations?

Anyone have any air intakes they recommend? cold air, ram air, what will work best with 01 gt?

Ive seen good results from the K&N FIPK kit as well as the C&L Trueflow inlet pipe. If you ever plan to run nitrous, the C&L has a nice boss made into it that is perfect for threading a fogger nozzle into.

It really doesn't matter. They all give you about the same output. It's mostly a matter of preference. If you like shiney stuff, or black, or you're going for a theme in your engine bay. Some say that aluminum and plastic has a huge difference in perf, but the difference is very minimal, maybe 1-2hp when hot.

The MAC CAI is alright, but it is a pure PITA to remove and install the air filter.

With my first stang, I purchased the Demolet DenseCharger. Good unit, does it what its advertised to do. Not as flashy as some, though I believe now they will custom paint them for you. Air filter was a real PIA to remove, and clean. For My current Stang I went with the Steeda CIA. A little more expensive then some, however since the filter does not go into the fender well cleaning it should be less of a problem. As for any performance gains, I would say now more or less than any other unit.
